A Wooden queen excluder is a tool used to control the queen bee's living and egg-laying space. Our queen excluders are available in two types: vertical and flat, both made of solid wood.
Vertical Wooden queen excluder are used inside flat hives, primarily for organizing double-queen colonies and zoned beekeeping.
Flat Wooden queen excluder are used in the middle of secondary hives, mainly to control the queen bee during honey production, preventing her from entering the secondary hive to lay eggs. They also have other functions.
