Drying is a crucial step in the production of solid wood boards. Through natural or artificial drying methods, the internal moisture content of the wood is reduced to meet standards suitable for processing and use. Proper drying techniques minimize issues such as cracking and warping, thereby enhancing the board's stability.
The dried wood undergoes processes including cutting, joining, pressing, and surface finishing. The wood is cut to the required dimensions based on design specifications, and multiple pieces are joined together to form a complete board. Subsequent planing and sanding ensure a smooth, level surface while highlighting the natural grain and texture of the wood.
Finally, the solid wood boards undergo surface treatment and quality inspection. Eco-friendly coatings, wax, or other protective finishes are applied to enhance wear resistance, moisture resistance, and aesthetic appeal. The finished boards are then tested for dimensions, strength, moisture content, and appearance; only those that meet the required standards are approved for use in furniture manufacturing and interior decoration.
